Sheffield: Feb Half Term

Fun Science Sheffield is back with more science fun this February 2019 half term! There will be plenty of experiments to watch and do, things to make, and items to erupt. Children will be supervised by highly qualified staff with enhanced DBS checks.Home education science sessions in Somerset

The club will run on 20th, 21st and 22nd February from 10am-3pm at CDYST, Coldwell Lane, Sheffield S10 5TL.

20th February – Robots and Engineering –Children will have great fun taking part in a series of engineering challenges, including designing and building robots in teams. They will also make their own robots and balloon-powdered cars to take home!

21st February – Up, up and away – We’ll be learning all about flight today and experimenting with air pressure. Children will find out what makes aircraft fly and learn all about Bernoulli’s principle, as well as making planes and mini rockets to take home!

22nd February – Crazy Chemistry – We’re exploring the crazy world of chemistry with plenty of fun-filled experiments and activities. Children will learn about atoms, molecules, and polymers and we’ll use our new knowledge to make slime! There will also be colour-changing experiments, fizzing potions, and spectacular foaming eruptions!
