Wigan: Wacky Wednesdays

Home education science sessions in SomersetWe’re back for more wacky, scientific fun at 1st Ashton Scout Hut, Woodedge, Ashton-in-Makerfield WN4 9LH in the Summer holidays.

Is this slime-making craze driving you, well craze-y? Leave it to the professionals. We’ve been making perfect slime for years. Well rather helping kids make it themselves. That doesn’t mean we won’t be experimenting ourselves. Once we’ve done slime of many colours, fluorescent slime and glitter slime and created the mega-slime, we are going to attempt slime that changes colour in different temperatures (thermochromic slime) and even magnetic slime.

Each child will get to take home the slimes they have created. It will keep them entertained for hours (and you can even use it to clean your computer keyboard!)

This is a chance to drop off your children, aged 5+ (with a snack if you wish) and leave them in our capable (albeit slimy) hands.

These sessions run from 10am – 12pm on the 2nd and 9th August. The days are perfect for children aged 5-11.

Prices: £7 per child, additional siblings £5.
