Bath: May Half Term
Fun Science Bath is back in May half term with fun experiments to watch and do, things to make and items to explode! Each day is run by highly trained Fun Scientists with enhanced DBS checks and first aid training and is jam-packed with experiments, games, crafts and explosions.
The club will run on 28th, 29th and 30th May from 10am-3pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Mount View, Bath, BA2 1JX with optional ‘stay and play’ from 9am-10am and 3pm-4pm. The days are perfect for children aged 4-10.
28th May – Under the Sea –Join us Under the Sea and learn all about the ocean! We will be discovering weird and wonderful creatures, exploring the different layers of the ocean, experimenting how to clean up an oil spill, making wave bottles and much more.
29th May – Lights, Rainbows, Action! – In this bright and colourful day we will be experimenting with lots of light. From things that glow in the dark, to making light using a chemical reaction. We will even make lightning using our Van De Graaff generator!
30th May – Fizz, Pop and Bubble- This day is all about chemistry – fizzing potions, popping potions and bubbling potions! Children will be given free reign to mix to their heart’s content with a range of safe but exciting chemicals. We will also be looking at some of our favourite colour changing reactions, making a mess and of course…having lots of fun!
All children will need a packed lunch and mid morning snack. Things can get messy at Fun Science so we recommend old clothing.
