Bath: October Half Term

Things are getting spooky at our October half term club. We have 3 action packed days full of hands on science with topics including rockets, spooky science and crazy chemistry.  Each day is run by highly trained Fun Scientists with enhanced DBS checks and first aid training and is jam-packed with experiments, games, crafts and explosions.October holiday club Bath 2017

The club will run on 29th, 30th and 31st October from 10am-3pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Mount View, Bath, BA2 1JX with optional ‘stay and play’ from 9am-10am and 3pm-4pm. The days are perfect for children aged 4-10.

29th October – Rockets and Space – 5,4,3,2,1 blast off! We will be learning about how rockets work, launching rockets, tasting astronaut food and finding out what it’s like to be an astronaut. Children will also be learning about planets, meteors and stars.

30th October – Crazy Chemistry – We love potions here at Fun Science. We will be experimenting with smelly potions, fizzing potions, fire experiments, mini explosions and much more in the name of chemistry!

31st October – Spooky Science – Our spooky science day is loads of fun and just a bit spooky! We will be making spooky glowing slime, erupting pumpkins, floating ghosts and witch’s potions. Send your little ghouls and ghosts for a Halloween with a twist!

All children will need a packed lunch and mid morning snack. Things can get messy at Fun Science so we recommend old clothing.
