Sheffield: Summer Fun Days

Fun Science Sheffield is back with more science fun in the summer holidays! There will be plenty of experiments to watch and do, things to make, and items to erupt. Children will be supervised by highly qualified staff with enhanced DBS checks. The club is suitable for children ages 5-11.Home education science sessions in Somerset

The club will run on 30th July, 14th, August, and 27th August from 10am-3pm at CDYST, Coldwell Lane, Sheffield S10 5TL.

30th July – Captivating Chemical Reactions – There will be loads of great experiments on this day – featuring foaming, fizzing and volcanic eruptions! We’ll also be making slime and bath bombs to take home. Children will even get to use the chemistry they’ve learnt to solve a crime using forensic science!

14th August – Wacky Weather – It’s time to find out all about how the weather works. We’ll make rain and lightning inside, trap tornadoes in a jar, play with snow in summer, and use invisible UV light to reveal secret messages!

27th August – Awesome Electricity and Magnetism – Fun Science is back and this time it’s going to be truly electrifying. We’ll be making three kinds of magnets, experimenting with circuits and even making indoor lightning with our amazing Van de Graaff generator!
